Basic Obedience Training
Our basic obedience training (BOT) consists of a 13-week course where we train you to teach your dog in the basics of obedience. This Course is our year round fundraiser. The funds raised from these classes are used for the betterment of our organization, team, mission, training and assisting the disabled people in our program.

The majority of your funds will go to providing services and training for individuals who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford it. Our training is designed and structured in accordance with the American Kennel Club (AKC) guidelines. This means at the completion of our course you will have the option to have your dog evaluated by one of our AKC certified evaluators to receive an AKC Canine Good Citizen Certificate. This course is usually held weekly on Saturdays and is subject to change based on the trainers’ schedules. We will contact you with the start dates and information about your upcoming class. We do not “physically” handle your dog unless it is for instruction purposes. In our experience we have found that by ‘you’ training your dog under our instruction, it helps to build a better sense of purpose and confidence between you and your dog. Some of the commands they will learn are; Sit, Stay, Off, Down, Leave It, Come, and various other tools to help you and your pup.
